The CARE Team (Congregational Assistance, Resources, & Encouragement) exists to allow the KFBC family to minister to the KFBC family. Members of our church body come alongside other believers to provide much needed encouragement in good times and in times of need, as well as helping on a personal level where the help is needed. There are many opportunities within the ministries of the CARE Team for everyone to serve. Here are some:

Celebration CARE

Funerals – a group of ladies dedicated to setting up and providing food for funerals of KFBC Members. 80th Birthdays – Celebrating 80 years of life with church members. Newborns/Baby Dedication – Every time there is a new edition to a family in the church, there is a rose displayed to announce the arrival to the rest of the congregation. Meals for Moms – Meals provided to help with the changes that occur when a new baby comes into the family.

Visitation CARE

Family Assistance – Financial and practical aid for families within the church and the surrounding community.  Hospital & Shut-ins – Visitations to hospitalized people and shut-ins, as well as meals for families experiencing the effects of having a loved one in the hospital.  Cherished Friends – Visiting long time members of KFBC who now find themselves at a time in life when it becomes increasingly difficult to attend our Sunday Morning Worship Services.

Communication CARE

Note Care – Encouraging the church body by writing notes to people celebrating their birthday, are sick, in mourning, shut-ins, and missionaries. ePrayer Link – An email service to communicate immediate prayer requests to the rest of the congregation.  Prayer Care – Prayer for people celebrating their birthday, are sick, in mourning, shut-ins, and missionaries.
